Are you looking for Free Apps for Kids while they are home during the coronovirus outbreak? Here are 5 of our favorites and as a mom of 6 I know 🙂
I teach people how to budget and listen….I did NOT budget for apps for my children this month.
With kids home during the Coronavirus across the country, you may be wondering what the Best Free Apps for Kids are to keep your kids learning and engaged in school. I LOVE Free apps for my kids during their afternoon rest time, and here are some of my favorites.
1.) ABC Mouse
I put this one first because it is the BEST one on the list, by far. With ABC Mouse you get a Free 30 day trial to try it out. The best part is that there are no ads or distractions for your kids, so you can let them play and learn without you having to guard your iPad. After the free trial is up, you have the option to continue and pay $7.99, honestly it is 100% worth it.
This is my kids favorite app, and for less than the price of Netflix they can play it ad free!
2.) PBS Kids App
With the PBS Kids App your kids can watch videos, play games, and do puzzles along with some of their favorite PBS Characters.
My two-year-old daughter loves to play the shape shifter game with Curious George.
3.) Starfall
This one is a phenomenal Phonics App that you can download for FREE! It has great songs, math, colors, and can even teach your child to read.
I know many of my friends who homeschool use this app in the early years of schooling and love it!
4.) Little Finder
This app seems simple but is really fun for both little kids and adults.
Little pictures pop up on the screen, and a voice tells you what to touch. There’s a timer, and you try to beat your score. Your kids learn at the same time.
5.) Typing Club
My 8 year old daughter loves this one and it helps her stay alert!
It is really fun and my kids love it!
What are some of your favorite apps for your kids?
