    Cotton candy cupcakes just scream “summer” to me! Impress the kids with these delicious cotton candy cupcakes. They’d also be really cute to take to a picnic!

    If you can’t find the Frosting Creations, you can use vanilla icing with half a pack of kool-aid for flavoring. 🙂

     

     

     

    Cotton Candy Cupcakes:

    Ingredients:

    • 1 package Yellow Cake Mix
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 1/3 cups water
    • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
    • 1 can Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Frosting Starter
    • 1 packet Duncan Hines® Frosting Creations™ Cotton Candy Flavor Mix

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin pan with cupcake liners.
    2. Combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil. Pour batter into cupcake liners, filling about half full. Bake 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool before frosting.
    3. Combine frosting starter with cotton candy flavor mix, and ice cooled cupcakes. You can garnish with pieces of cotton candy for even more sweetness!
