This post is a sponsored post by Team Unilever Shopper and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!®. All opinions are my own.
One thing my kids love on their ice cream is caramel sauce and this month I had a goal to learn how to make caramel sauce at home. If you take a look at the back of the bottle of store bought caramel sauce, you will see a label that is full of items that you cannot even pronounce (this always scares me). I love feeding my kids healthy foods, but also love to share special sweet treats with them as well.
I figured I may as well learn how to make my own because at least I know what is in there.
Now that I know how to make caramel sauce, I wanted to share my homemade recipe with you – it is much better than store bought AND made with only 4 ingredients!
I made it with ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter’ this time, they came out with a new simple ingredients recipe and I got it on sale. The results were AMAZING!
Here are some facts about I Can’t Belive It’s Not Butter:
If you shop at Shop Rite – they are having a sale this week where you can buy 2/$5.00 with your Store Loyalty Card. The sale runs through 11/18/14.
This recipe is perfect to use poured over ice cream, over an apple pie, to make caramel ice cream shakes, create a caramel latte, and mix over freshly popped popcorn. There are SO many uses for it!
You have to try it – it is really amazing!
Have you grabbed my freezer meal plans, yet? I might be biased but I think they are pretty amazing! They have saved our dinner hour for years now. Check them out!
