A couple of weeks ago the Flu hit our house HARD!  It was a two week long sickness that affected four of us – thankfully two of my kids got away without catching it.

The worst part of the flu, was when my baby girl got it. She is 18 months old now, and she was so very sick. It broke my heart!

I think that for four days straight I laid on the couch with her laying on my chest. She was too sick to move, with a fever too high, and without an appetite.

I finally took her to the dr. after she was sick for 5 days, and the diagnosis was the officially FLU! Deep down I knew she had it, but didn’t want to take her for fear of infecting the other kids in the doctor’s office.

Here are the 3 must have things to take care of your baby with the flu:

1.) Medicine on hand

When Abby woke up with a fever I had no medicine in my cupboard. I had to send Mark out of the house very early in the morning to go grab some at the store!
