Looking for something a little different tonight that the whole family will LOVE? Then you need to check out this Korean Beef with Fried Rice. It seriously tastes AMAZING – all 4 of my picky eaters ate this up no problem!

The key to this recipe is to cook the beef separately from the rice, and then combine later. The beef is simple enough. For the rice – make sure that it is cooked ahead of time. Better yet, leftover rice works PERFECT for this recipe. It took me forever to make good stir fry rice, but this process works great every time:

    1. Cook finely chopped onions and any other vegetables in sesame oil with a little bit of salt.
    2. Once soft, move to one side and add an egg.
    3. Scramble in the pan, then mix with the vegetables.
    4. Add rice and a bit of soy sauce.
    5. Add meat.

So while the recipe looks like many steps, it’s actually pretty easy. The picture above has green beans, but the recipe has broccoli – it really doesn’t make a difference.

    Enjoy!
