Did you know that July is National Grilling month?  Mark and I love to grill out during the summer months, it’s easy and doesn’t mess up the kitchen much either!  We also love to stock up on London Broil and Pompeian GrapeSeed Oil when it is on sale to make our favorite Meat Marinade Recipe.

The key to making a great marinade is looking at the smoke point of the oil that you use; Pompeian Grapeseed Oil has one of the highest smoke points of all oils. The temperature when an oil will start to smoke is called its smoke point, which means that it can be heated to a high temperature before it starts to smoke, making it perfect for grilling!

This marinade gives the London Broil a crisp outside and a beautifully done inside – we marinade it overnight and it tastes amazing every time.  You don’t have to use this marinade just for grilling; it can also be used inside during the winter months by broiling meat in your oven.
