  • Chilly Fall mornings are my favorite types of mornings!  Slipping into my bathrobe and putting on my slippers to go downstairs and start breakfast for my four children can be challenging, so I try to plan ahead of time by making meals at night that I can throw in the oven in the morning.

I wanted to share with you my favorite Fall Breakfast Recipe – it is my Sausage & Egg Bake!  I made a video for you to show you the exact recipe, my favorite thing about this Egg Bake is that you can make it the night before and put it in the oven in the morning!

    Here is the recipe:

    Sausage & Egg Bake

    Ingredients:

    • 5 Slices of Nature’s Pride 100% Whole Grain Bread (you can use Healthy Nut or Multi-Grain too)
    • 5-6 cooked Sausage Links (you can use more if you wish)
    • 8 Eggs
    • 2 Cups Milk
    • 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
    • Salt and Pepper
    • Pinch of Ground Mustard

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven at 375 degrees.
    2. Grease a 13 X 9 baking dish.
    3. Break apart 5 slices of Nature’s Pride bread into small pieces and put into bottom of baking dish.
    4. Break apart sausage links into small pieces and put on top of bread .
    5. Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top of bread and sausage.
    6. In a separate bowl mix together 8 eggs, milk, salt and pepper and ground mustard.
    7. Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese.
    8. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
    9. Slice up and serve!

Have you grabbed my freezer meal plans, yet? I might be biased but I think they are pretty amazing! They have saved our dinner hour for years now. Check them out!

  • I love this recipe! I’ve made it for my women’s group at church multiple times and they love it. My only issue with it is I cant find a “Print” button that takes me to a nice printable version of the recipe. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be making it again this week.
