One thing that we love to do during the summer is make Kabobs. We love to put any kind of meat and veggies on them, throw them on the grill, and make a delicious and easy dinner.
When Peeps sent me their new Peeps Mini’s and asked me to come up with an idea on how to use them, I knew I had to make a Peep-kabob. My kids LOVE Peeps and they love Kabobs, so the two were paired perfectly for a simple and delicious summer treat.
This recipe is VERY easy! Here is what you need:
This is the perfect activity for kids, my three older kids (ages 8, 5, and 3) were easily able to make their own. They loved making them the way they wanted and then being able to eat their creations.
The Peeps Mini’s that I used were the Strawberry Creme flavor, they were delicious and just the perfect sweetness for this treat!
They also sent me a bag of the Sour Watermelon flavor, but those were eaten 20 minutes after they arrived at my house because they were SO good!
Once you are done making the Peep-Kabobs, you can start on the Cream Cheese dipping sauce. You will need:
I whipped the cream cheese and yogurt together in my KitchenAid mixer, then added a sprinkle of cinnamon. It was delicious and a nice addition to the fruit!
They were definitely kid approved – and were promptly eaten in 2 minutes or less 🙂
