Are you looking to get blood out of your clothing? Here are a few simple tips on how to get it out of it for good, with things already laying around your house.  You should not use warm water when trying to take out a blood stain, because it actually cooks the stain and makes it set in more.

Here are 3 ways to get those blood stains out:

1.) Using Shampoo.  Pour a small amount of shampoo on the stain, then scrub with water between your hands. Scrub until the stain starts to come out, next soak in cold water for 2 hours.  Wash like normal, using cold water in your wash cycle.

2.) Using Hydrogen Peroxide. Wash off stained area with water, fill a bowl with hydrogen peroxide.  Put the stained area inside the bowl of hydrogen peroxide for 20 – 25 minutes.  Then wash like you normally would, but using cold water in your wash cycle.

3.) Using Vinegar. Apply vinegar directly to the stained area, then blot with cold water cloth until the stain is removed. Wash like normal, using cold water in your wash cycle.

Let me know if you know of any tips on how to remove blood from your clothing, these stains are always the worst!
