  • Here is another Frugal Tip for you tonight.

In order to get wax out of your carpet, you need 2 things. An iron and a piece of paper or a dish towel.  Before you start this you will want to use a butter knife to scrape off as much of the wax as possible, then vacuum up any left over debris.

Make sure that you turn your iron on to the lowest heat possible, and turn the steam option OFF.

Here is the step by step instructions:

1.)  Place a paper towel, piece of paper, or dish towel over the wax you want to remove.

2.) Put the tip of the iron flat onto the paper/towel that is over the wax, then push in a circular motion.  Do this until the wax melts.

3.) When wax has melted it should adhere to the paper or towel, gently pull back the towel to make sure the wax has been removed.

4.) Do this over and over until all the wax is gone.

Let me know how this works for you!
