You will be looking forward to dinner all day. But the wait is worth it. This Slow Cooker Pork loin in a Basil Cream Sauce is just fantastic. The seasoning, the spices, the creaminess of the sauce are just perfect.
Throw the ingredients in the slow cooker, and just let it cook. Once it’s done, you have one small step at the end, but it will only take you a few minutes and it’s SOOO worth it.

Pork Loin with Creamy Herb Sauce
Ingredients
- 2-3 lb. pork loin
- 1/2 onion minced
- 3 cloves garlic minced or pressed (or 1 Tbsp jarred minced garlic)
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2/3 cup half and half
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Place pork loin in the slow cooker and season with salt and pepper.
- Add everything else but the half and half and cornstarch to the slow cooker.
- Cook for 8 hours on low (or 6 hours on medium, or 4 hours on high)
- Remove pork from slow cooker and cover.
- Add half and half to a sauce pan and whisk in the cornstarch.
- Over medium heat, whisking often, heat until it is bubbly and thick.
- Add the thickened half and half to the liquid in the slow cooker and mix in well.
- Let the liquid cook in the slow cooker for about 5-10 minutes.
- Slice the pork and serve. top with the cream sauce from the slow cooker.
